Michael E. Garrison, BS, RPSGT, Owner and Director of Education, obtained his bachelors degree in psychology, with a minor in writing from Missouri State University. Michael began his career in healthcare while a student at Missouri State University working for the campus health center. He moved into home health care and, upon attaining his degree, he entered the field of Polysomnography and became a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). Michael has worked as an Administrative Supervisor for The University of Kansas Hospital's Sleep Disorders Center and as an instructor in the university’s School of Allied Health's Respiratory Therapy program, where he taught courses in Polysomnography and Control of Ventilation. He designs and conducts CEC courses and seminars. Michael is the Program Director of an A-STEP* accredited sleep technologist training center and is a founding editor and contributing author for "Sleep Review". "I have spent my entire adult life in healthcare helping others and have discovered the best way for me to reach the most people is to provide quality education and training to those either entering or already in healthcare."
